Phone payments issue

We are curently having issues with our payments system, which means we are unable to take Council Tax payments over our automated phone line. We are working on the problem urgently and thank you for your patience. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Register for an account

You will need to set up a new Council Tax account with us if you have:  

  • moved into the area from elsewhere
  • bought or rented your first home

To set up a new account, you will need to tell us:

  • the date you moved in
  • details of your old and new address
  • details of anyone who is moving in with you

If you are a landlord or letting agent, you can also tell us about a move.

Authority to discuss

We can only discuss your Council Tax account with you, or with someone who has authority to discuss.
