Hire facilities at CSAC

At CSAC, we offer hire options for individual athletes, who want to train on dedicated track and field facilities, as well as hosting sporting event.

You will need to make sure you are familiar with our coaching policy before you use our facilities.

Training and coaching

Indoors, you can hire our:

indoor Mondo 60m track
throws area
long jump, high jump and pole vault facilities

Outdoors, we can offer:

400m track, which we resurfaced in 2023
four-lane triple and long jump runways
two throws cages (discus and hammer only)
two javelin runways

When you hire our facilities, your session will last for a maximum of two hours, when you'll have access to the track and field area (both floodlit and non-floodlit) and the indoor sprint straight.

You can also make use of our coaching for schools.

Events

We have a large, covered, seated stand, which is great for any event.

We host school sports days and competitive events, including the BUCS Athletics Championships in 2022, and the England Under-20 and Under-23 Championships and the England Senior Championships in 2023.

Prices are available on application. You can complete an enquiry form and the facility manager will contact you to discuss your requirements.

The sports hall at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre is capable of mixed simultaneous use and available for hire on a casual and block booking basis.

Our air-conditioned meeting room at CSAC is fully accessible and well lit, and offers space for up to 20 people.

We also offer projection equipment and flip chart hire for an additional cost.
