Situated on the ground floor of Chelmsford Museum, just to the right of the welcome desk, our Temporary Exhibition Gallery is the ideal space for our curatorial team to explore subjects and themes linked to Chelmsford and the wider region in more depth.
Previous exhibitions in this space have included: the 100th anniversary of the birth of the BBC working with a digital artist and the local community; a dedication to Essex Pride and what it means to be part of the LGBTQ+ community in Chelmsford and Essex; a display of photographs that show the journey and changes to the Chelmsford landscape; and it is home to the biennial Open Art exhibition presented by the Friends of Chelmsford Museum.
Our What's On page is the best place to find out what the latest exhibition is as well as what is coming up next. You can see the full list here: chelmsford.gov.uk/museums/whats-on/temporary-exhibitions/
