We are fully booked for the Spring term. We are taking bookings for the 2024 Summer and Autumn terms.
Encourage pupils to take up our film makers challenge.
Through role play, photographs and stories, they can explore the life of Marconi or local suffragette Grace Chappelow.
Then, they will work in ‘production teams’ to plan, shoot and edit a mini film to share the story and impact of these figures on our lives today.
Following your visit, we will email all films directly to your school.
In this session, pupils will:
- actively engage with the story of a local person, reflecting on their achievements and legacy to decide what makes them a ‘significant’ person, using photographs, stories and role play
- work creatively in small teams to plan, write and produce films that combine images, narration and ‘live interviews’ to communicate information effectively.
- learn and apply new IT skills to produce mini movies including green screen filming and special effects.
