A vintage drawing of a chick in a hat carrying flowers in egg shells.

Make a Victorian inspired Easter Card. Victorians decorated their Easter Cards in images of nature, including bunnies, chicks, lambs, flowers, and trees. Create a collage or draw your nature themed Easter Card. Be inspired by the Museum's natural world display on the mezzanine and draw animals and flowers that you see around you.

We’ll also be joined by our volunteers who can help you with our object handling table. Explore our Victorian and Easter inspired objects taken straight from our collection.

This activity consists of collage using scissors and glue. Alternatively, drawing materials will be supplied.

These sessions are drop-in and there is no need to book. If the room is full when you arrive, please check back later in the day. We are unable to reserve places.

There will also be free trails to do around the museum available from reception. If you love our object handling tables, we’ll also have a 20th Century themed table on Tuesday 2 April, and an archaeological themed table on Tuesday 9 April in the Victorian Hall.
