There are four car parks in Chelmsford called the Meadows. We own two of them, but we do not own:
- Q-Park Meadows Multi-Storey Car Park, which is next to the shopping centre and opposite the Odeon cinema
- Euro Car Parks Meadows Surface, which is in Springfield Road and High Bridge Road
If you park in these private car parks, the opening times and fees will be different to the Council-run car park. The pay by phone operator will also be a different company to MiPermit.
If you are a Blue Badge holder, you should check if you have to pay for your whole stay in these private car parks.
Euro Car Parks also manage the ground floor (level 0) of this multi-storey car park. Again, the pay by phone operator will also be a different company to MiPermit on this floor only.

Overnight parking
You can park in this car park overnight, but it is locked after 10pm from Monday to Saturday and after 6pm on Sunday.
The overnight tariff is £2.50. You can buy it from 5pm and it will last up to 10pm (6pm on Sunday).
If you are locked in one of our car parks after it closes, you can call 01245 606299. However, depending on staffing levels, you may not get your vehicle released immediately.
If you are able to get your vehicle released immediately, you will need to pay a £50 release fee.
