Ping! table tennis

We are working alongside Table Tennis England to bring free, outdoor table tennis into the community.

Fun, challenging and fast-paced, table tennis (or ping pong) is a great sport for everybody.

It is low impact, but will still keep you fit and flexible. As you hit the lightweight ball back and forth over the low net, it improves hand-eye coordination, balance, concentration and is a great way to introduce children to racket sports.

As long as you can hold a bat, you can have a go.  

Ping hopes to bring about a sense of community and help people connect to the city and its green spaces.

There are 22 free-to-use table tennis tables at popular locations around Chelmsford to get as many people as possible playing table tennis. You can find your nearest table on Ping Chelmsford.

Please bring your own bats and balls.
