Description
The corten steel sculpture, an edge screen to the landscaped pond environment, is located beside the wiggly walkway entrance to the Vineyards.
The work highlights pond fauna and the title of the piece is in reference to Armstrong Gibbs’ composition "As I Lay in the Early Sun", celebrating composer Armstrong Gibbs who was born at the original house on the site in 1889.
The artist was commissioned by Weston Homes for the Heron Gate development.
