If you’re looking for freshly cooked, great value food, there is plenty of choice in the indoor market.
You can grab a quick bite to take away, or sit and enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Bann Noodle
Authentic Asian street food offering a fantastic menu such as dim sum, chow mein, roasted duck with honey and bean sauce, noodle soups and crispy noodles.
In addition, bubble tea is a refreshing fruit or milk tea in a variety of flavours, shaken like a cocktail with bubbles in the bottom that burst with flavour in your mouth and gets that iconic name ‘bubble tea’.
It also has a large seating area.
Location: Park end of the market, next to the butchers.
Opening times: 8.30am to 4pm.
Caribbean Flavour
Freshly prepared daily by Ben, this stall offers authentic Caribbean hot traditional dishes including vegan and vegetarian options. All meat is halal.
Location: Kiosk 9 (park end of market near Cheese stall)
Opening times: Tuesday to Friday, 10.30am to 4pm and Saturday 10.30am to 5pm.
Lek’s Thai Food
Lek’s Thai Food serves up fragrant, authentic Thai food and is one of the longest standing businesses in the market.
You can enjoy your food sitting in their external seating area, or take away.

Maura’s
Baked with love, selling handmade bread (and general baked goods such as croissants, pain au chocolat), Italian coffee, handmade biscuits, handmade pasta, handmade pizza, cakes and Italian patisserie. All freshly cooked on the day.
Location: Kiosk 4 and 5, in the South Hall in between the cheese stall and Baah Noodle.
Raven's Nest
Café and seating area, serving delicious selection of homemade cakes, sandwiches, jackets, hot and cold drinks and coffees and amazing hot chocolates. Vegan and gluten free options, dog friendly.
The cafe is open Tuesday to Friday from 8:30am to 3.30pm and Saturday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Location: Kiosk 16 North Hall, behind the plant/flower stall and bike stall.
Swales
This friendly, family-run burger bar was established in 1963. They offer freshly cooked food to go, including traditional hot dogs, burgers, chips, freshly cooked donuts and crepes, as well as traditional candy floss.
Location: Central red walkway, leading to bus terminus and car park payment machines.
Opening times: Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm
