Highways Panel

The Chelmsford Local Highways Panel comprises Essex County and Chelmsford City Councillors. It makes proposals to the Cabinet Member for Infrastructure at Essex County Council for new, small highway schemes in the Chelmsford City Council area.

The panel can make suggestions relating to:

traffic management improvements
tackling congestion
safer roads
public rights of way improvements
cycling schemes
passenger transport improvements
minor improvement schemes

Membership

The Panel consists of four County Councillors and four City Councillors.

Meetings are closed to the public but the agenda, without reports, and minutes of the meetings are available from Essex County Council.
